About Dr. Collins

Michael J. Collins has been continuously in practice and caring for patients' dental health and well being since 1972.  He received his degree as a doctor of medical dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry 1967, then served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969.    Dr. Collins is a Member of the Academy of Reconstructive and Cosmetic Dentistry; a Fellow of the Virginia  Dental Association; past president of the Arlington, Virginia Dental Society; past President of the Commonwealth Dental Society Study Club and past Chairman of the Board of the Arlington, Virginia YMCA.

Dr. Collins opened his practice in February, 1975 and has been caring for individuals and families here for more than 30 years.  Many of our patients have been coming to see us since they were children, and today bring their own children.

Dr. Collins believes in providing the highest quality dental care possible through patient education, preventative dentistry and early intervention and, most important, establishing long-term, individual partnerships between dentist and patient to reach a common goal together:  your good dental health.
